SparkTerminal for Mac

1.3

SparkTerminal for Mac brings your servers together: SSH terminal, the state of every machine, Docker, services, network, tunnels and alerts. No account, no cloud.

SparkTerminal connects to your servers over SSH and shows at a glance what is fine and what is not.

Passwords stay in the macOS Keychain; the app talks only to your servers and, if you want, to your own AI model.

Six languages: French, Dutch, German, English, Russian and Spanish.

Features

Board

The whole fleet on one screen

Every host with its state, CPU, graphics card, memory, disks, Docker and uptime; problems rise to the top.

Terminal

SSH in tabs

Several terminals at once, tmux sessions that survive a dropped connection, reusable command snippets.

Docker

Containers and services

Start, stop, restart, read the logs, open a shell; systemd services with journal and restart.

Network

Built-in tools

Devices on the local network with their name and maker, port scan, ping, DNS lookups.

Key

Key-based login

SparkTerminal creates its own ed25519 key and installs it on the host; the password is needed only once.

Privacy

Nothing leaves

No account, no cloud, no telemetry: only SSH connections to your own servers.

What’s new

Version 1.3, 1 November 2026

  • New name: Terminus is now SparkTerminal; hosts, settings and passwords are kept.
  • SSH keys are created and fingerprinted inside the app, in the usual OpenSSH format.
  • The window can no longer get narrower than its content, so the sidebar and board are never cut off.

Installation

  1. 1

    Download and drag

Open the DMG and drag SparkTerminal to Applications.

  2. 2

    Open SparkTerminal

The app is signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens right away.

  3. 3

    Add your servers

Import ~/.ssh/config in one click or add a host by hand.

Questions and answers

I used Terminus or Prichal

SparkTerminal is the new name of Terminus (formerly Prichal). It replaces the app and keeps your hosts, settings and passwords; macOS asks once for Keychain access.

Where are my passwords?

In the macOS Keychain. Touch ID can optionally be required before each read.

Which Macs?

Macs with Apple Silicon, macOS 14 or later.

How do I check the downloaded file?

In Terminal, run the command below and compare the result with the SHA-256 fingerprint on the right. If a single character differs, do not open the file and write to us.

shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/SparkTerminal-1.3-arm64.dmg
